Guess what a girl named Mary Anning loves digging too. When she was 12 year's old, she discovered Ichthyosaurs skeleton by the beach near her home. Can you imagine digging in the sand and find a massive skeleton of a creature no one ever saw? These are so-called fossils, which are remains of once-living creatures, who roam the earth. Mary Anning became one of the first female Paleontologists and discovered more Dinosaurs. She was as noted by the National History Museum in London
"the greatest fossil hunter ever known." So go ahead and dig!
